| En 2006, le cheptel d'origine d'huîtres adultes présentait un poids moyen individuel de 28,8g. La mise à l'eau s'est effectuée entre le 13 et le 17 mars 2006 sur les stations Manche et Atlantique et le 20 mars en Méditerranée. Au niveau national, la croissance observée en 2006 pour les adultes s'avère bonne, avec des valeurs supérieures à la moyenne en Normandie (+9,6%), en Bretagne Nord (+24,7%) et dans les Pays de la Loire (+11,7%). En revanche, les performances sont médiocres dans le bassin d'Arcachon (-13,3%). | Depuis le début du programme I.S.T.P.M. en mars 1976, onze campagnes de recherche ont été organisées en Manche orientale. Durant une première phase, 1976 et 1977, cette région a été prospectée de manière systématique au sondeur et à la drague, à raison de 3 campagnes chaque année. Cette étude a permis de localiser un certain nombre de gisements régulièrement exploités sur lesquels les observations se sont poursuivies d 1978 à 1981 avant l'ouverture de la pêche à la coquille. | Le contrat de pays d'Auray avait permis de réaliser en 1979 une première série d'essais d'élevage de palourdes en milieu ouvert. Les résultats ont été exposés dans un rapport intitulé: "Bilan des essais d'élevage de la palourde sur le littoral morbihannais" diffusé en Décembre 1979. | Every year, from March to December, the IFREMER / REMORA network carries out a survey of mortality, growth and quality criteria of two oyster batches ("juveniles" = one-year ciass ; and "adults" = two-years class), distributed among various stations of the main French oyster areas. In Brittany, this network includes 11 points, to which regional points can be added (15 in 2000). With regard to the Breton stations of the network, the year 2000 showed rather low mortality rates, excepted mortality of several oysters when transfered to the sea. The network monitored 46 sites in 2004, including the 7 new sites added in 2003. The network REMORA thus assess seasonal survival, growth and quality of cupped oysters. It is a tool for trend estimations, ecosystem management and a reference frame for scientific studies.
